FAQs

Why does the vabsRider weigh 2.3kg?

The vabsRider is constructed from high-strength materials and precision mechanical parts that ensure long-term durability on sturdy frames

Can I use this on a carbon fibre racing bike?

The vabsRider is designed for use by recreational and occupational cyclists using sturdy frames and is not intended for ultra-lightweight carbon racing frames or seat posts.

Can I use the vabsRider with dropper posts?

Currently, the vabsRider is not compatible with dropper posts. Because our unique Virtual Axis technology is integrated directly into its own dedicated seat post, it cannot be mounted to an existing dropper system. We do not recommend attempting to dismantle or modify a dropper post to fit the vabsRider as this is a complex process that may void your bike's warranty.

Does the vabsRider come with an anti-theft device?

While the vabsRider does not come with an anti-theft device, riders can secure the seat with most traditional cable bike locks. These cable locks easily loop through the two seat rails, your bicycle frame, and any preferred fixed point for security.
