How vabsRider’s Dynamic Split-Seat Technology Works
Experience the shift from static discomfort to pain-free cycling with a virtual axis system that mimics your natural cycling motion.
Aligning the Virtual Axis with the Rider’s Hip
On a traditional bike saddle, your hip joints move, but the seat stays still. This creates friction and pressure because your body is working against the saddle with every pedal stroke.
The virtual axis is an ‘invisible pivot point’ that the vabsRider moves around. Instead of the saddle being fixed, the two sides of the vabsRider move independently, rotating about the virtual axis. This rotation is ergonomically aligned with the natural circular motion of your hip joints.

- Dynamic Support: Because the saddle rotates to mimic your body’s natural pedal stroke, it supports your body throughout the entire range of motion.
- Pressure Relief: The saddle’s split seat design transfers weight away from the sit bones and sensitive soft tissues and onto the femurs – the longest, strongest bones in your body – designed to carry your weight.
- Reduced Friction: Because the saddle surface moves with your legs it significantly reduces chafing and saddle sores.
" I am someone with a love of riding that has suffered from significant back pain which has limited my joy of riding since I retired. After testing the product, I very much looked forward to riding each day using this seat."

" I rode 5 hours sitting on the bicycle seat and I did 85km in that time. The seat was great, I found it surprisingly comfortable! If you’re having any problems with pain in the (soft) tissue area the vabsRider absolutely solves that problem."

" I had a fracture of the knee many years back. This is much more comfortable for my knee. After 45 minutes on the vabsRider, I didn’t feel any back or bum pain as compared with a normal seat."
