Stop letting discomfort dictate the distance you ride. The vabsRider split seat is a breakthrough in cycling ergonomics, engineered to move with your body rather than against it. By fundamentally changing how your weight is supported, we’ve eliminated the primary cause of cycling pain.

The vabsRider fundamentally changes how your body interacts with your bicycle. Traditional static saddles force your sit bones and soft tissue areas to absorb every vibration and pedal stroke impact. The vabsRider utilises a patented Virtual Axis system that allows each side of the split-seat to move independently in a smooth, arc-like motion. By aligning this movement with your hip joints, the seat effectively transfers the load from your sensitive pelvic region to your femurs, eliminating soft tissue pressure, friction and nerve compression that cause saddle pain, numbness and saddle sores.

FAQs

I have a Medical Condition. Can the vabsRider help?

While the vabsRider is not a medical device, our pressure mapping studies show it can reduce peak pressure by up to 80% compared to traditional bike saddles. By transferring weight to the femurs and eliminating contact with sensitive soft tissues, the dynamic design offers a more comfortable experience when compared to traditional static bicycle seats. We always recommend consulting your doctor to see if our split seat design is appropriate for your specific needs.

Where can I test the vabsRider?

Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook page for news of vabsRider trial days near you.

Does the vabsRider have any kind of suspension?

The vabsRider is designed to eliminate the need for traditional suspension; our pressure mapping studies demonstrate that the dynamic seat reduces peak pressure by up to 80%. While we may explore integrated suspension in future iterations, the current model focuses on superior anatomical comfort through movement.

Is the vabsRider compatible with suspension seat posts?

No, the vabsRider is not compatible with suspension seat posts because the dynamic design reduces pressure by 80%, making additional pressure-lowering measures obsolete.
